Spaghetti supper slated

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children six-10 (those five and under are free), with tickets available at Dev-Lynne’s, Greensides, and at the door.
There also will be a penny table.

Tina and Tyler Hopaluk further celebrated their Oct. 10 wedding with a reception this past Saturday (Nov. 14) at the Devlin Hall, which was well-attended.
The couple lives in Calgary.
Tina is the daughter of Doug and Mary Hyatt, and her two brothers, Matt (from Nova Scotia) and Jeremy (from Emerson, Man.), were on hand to celebrate the happy event.

“Crafts Galore” will be held Dec. 4-5 at the Emo Legion in conjunction with “Holly Daze” festivities.
Tables are available for rent for $10 each (call the Legion at 482-2250 for more info).

The Emo Legion’s annual seniors’ Christmas supper is planned for Saturday, Nov. 28 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $10/person, with tickets available at the Legion.

The next Bingo at the Emo Legion is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 24.

All residents requiring snowplow services this winter must sign a waiver first.
Outstanding balances also must be paid in full before snowplowing services will start.

A reminder the Emo Public Library is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1-5 p.m., Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursdays from 1-7 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
It is closed on Sundays.

A couple had recently married and sent a wedding photo and announcement into the newspaper.
When the announcement appeared in print, however, the man saw that their names were listed under the picture of a different bridal couple.
“I have good news and bad news,” the fellow said when he told his bride of the mix-up.
“The good news is that I have hair. The bad news is that you’re ugly.”

A spaghetti supper fundraiser for Jessica Engels is planned for Friday, Nov. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Devlin Hall.
Jessica, the daughter of Trudy and Chris Shine, is scheduled to undergo heart surgery in London, Ont. that day.
