$10,000 windfall for Fort woman

Donna Williamson of Fort Frances was the $10,000 grand prize winner of the Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s “Canada Day Cash Lottery” fundraiser raffle.
Winning $2,000 was Barb Turgeon of Fort Frances while Marie Kreger of Rainy River won the $1,000 prize up for grabs.

The four $500 winners were Mervin Benjamin, Angela Dokuchie, and Mark Addison of Fort Frances, as well as Candy Greengrass-Teeple of Stratton.
The Foundation netted about $14,000 in proceeds from the draw, which will be used for much-needed medical equipment for the three district hospitals and Rainycrest.
