This Jam Session will be a part of a national acoustic Marathon Jam fundraiser event held on the last Saturday of January to support the Fisher House Foundation. This foundation provides a “home away from home” for military families of patients receiving medical care at major VA medical centers. ( www.fisherhouse.org )

The event was started by author John Santa five years ago in Chapel Hill, NC, and his music cohorts in Iraq. The “Baghdad Bad Boys” Bluegrass gang will be jamming at Camp Victory in Iraq at the same time as us, as their work details and time difference allows.
