Leafs score victory in Falls

The Fort Frances Leafs U14 girls’ hockey rep team played the International Falls Broncos junior varsity team there Tuesday night and brought home a 3-2 win.
Monica Woods, Sha-Lynn Smith, and Hailey Clendenning scored for the Leafs.

The Leafs outshot the Broncos 51-21 and had ample opportunity to blow open the game, but were stymied by stellar goaltending.
“A thank you to all family and friends that came out to support the girls,” coach Scott Clendenning noted in an e-mail to the Times.
