DSSAB to hold monthly meeting tomorrow

The Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board will hold its regular monthly meeting tomorrow (Nov. 20) at 6:30 p.m. at its office on Scott Street.
On the agenda is a presentation on unit readiness by housing manager Dianne Faragher and maintenance worker Rick Bliss.

DSSAB CAO Donna Dittaro also will speak about the open house that was held at the Fort Frances office on Friday (Nov. 14), which gave the public the chance to see the newly-renovated building, as well as meet with the various employees to hear what services the DSSAB offers to district residents.
New business for tomorrow night’s meeting includes:
•human resource policies;
•“Ontario Works” upload;
•tangible capital assets;
•recovery of land ambulance transition funds; and
•the possibility of cancelling December’s board meeting
Reports slated to be heard tomorrow night include the CAO and program reports, finance report, board chair report, and updates from various committees, including “Ontario Works,” social housing, land ambulance, and child care.
