Prestigious award

The Fort Frances Times was awarded the “Ambassador for Safety Business Award” by Safe Communities Canada, which was established to recognize organizations that make an exceptional contribution to improving safety in their communities. It was presented last Thursday morning by Fort Frances Fire Chief Gerry Armstrong and Grace Silander, with the Rainy River Valley Safety Coalition, to Times’ co-owners Jim Cumming, Don Cumming, and Linda Plumridge.
