What's new
Thursday, 25 September 2008 - 3:32pm
Last week we saw incumbent Ken Boshcoff open his campaign headquarters here in Fort Frances. This week we caught up with NDP candidate John Rafferty to learn a bit about the inner workings of a campaign and how things are going thus far.
Our local sports guru, Mitch Calvert, is back, joining us in a new “Benchwarmers” segment where we will discuss the Fort Frances Jr. Sabres slow start to their second season in the SIJHL.
From News Canada we take a look at folic acid and pregnancy, a seemingly hot topic in nutrition today.
Be sure to stay tuned as next week we will bring you high school sports action, along with more Sabres’ coverage and a Q and A from the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce’s all-candidates forum being held Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 7-9 p.m. at the Civic Centre.

Changes in the high school have some students a little confused. The school has went to a “flip” timetable, where classes come in a different order each week.
I tracked down five students on their way to lunch and asked their opinion on the new timetable format.
