Cook Engineering has been retained by the Ministry of Transportation to undertake Contract Administration for the Highway 11 East Low Level
Bridge on Noden Causeway structure improvements, 5.8 km east of the Fort Frances east town limits.

The construction project will commence on May 5, 2008 with completion scheduled for fall of 2008.

The speed limit within the construction zone will be reduced to 50 km per hour to ensure public safety. Staging of traffic throughout the construction zone has been developed to minimize the length of construction while providing for a safe work area, which will allow for effective sequencing of construction activities. Single lane traffic will occur throughout the construction zone. Traffic will be controlled through the use of temporary traffic barriers, signage and signals, as well as manual traffic control flagging.
