Shaw adding more HD channels to lineup

Shaw Communications announced Tuesday that its channel lineup will be changing April 22-24 to accommodate new high-definition (HD) channels.
The new HD content features TLC HD and Fox Seattle HD, giving customers more HD selection than ever before.

The markets affected include:
•Fort Frances, Atikokan, Dryden, Thunder Bay, and Sault Ste. Marie (starting April 22);
•Wawa, Manitouwadge, Marathon, Nipigon-Red Rock, and Terrace Bay-Schreiber (starting April 23); and
•Kenora (starting April 23).
“We’re committed to bringing our customers quality programming that appeals to all viewers,” said Peter Bissonnette, president of Shaw Communications Inc.
“We’ve adjusted our channel lineup to make room for new channels that will improve our customers’ viewing experience by providing world class high-definition entertainment,” he added.
