IBRT going live on web

The station will provide a permanent, 24/7 online broadcasting outlet featuring IBRT plays, events around RRCC, and a selection of audio drama from groups all over the world.
Currently, Icebox Radio is broadcasting a test stream of pre-recorded plays. Tonight’s kids’ show will be its first live event.
To tune into the new station, go to www.iceboxradio.org and click on the Icebox Radio link. A media player, such as iTunes or Winamp, is needed to connect to the station.
“U-20 ~ 08” will feature a variety of comedy and dramatic skits and plays for all ages. Admission for the show is free, but the IBRT is asking for a suggested donation of $2 per person.
Icebox Radio Theater of International Falls will broadcast its next show, “U-20 ~ 08” (the kids’ show), live on the world wide web tonight beginning at 7 p.m.
Development of a new online radio station, tentatively named “Icebox Radio,” was part of the IBRT’s arrangement with Rainy River Community College.
