The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce is encouraging its membership to support the new Fort Frances Public Library and Technology Centre by making a pledge to the “Drive for 35” fundraising campaign.
“The new technology centre has been designed in such a way to provide support to small businesses, access to technology training, as well as career skills workshops, all of which are important and vital to the success of small business and our membership,” said Chamber president Christine Denby.
Denby noted the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce fully supports the “Building for the Future” campaign and feels strongly that a new library and technology centre will provide a centerpiece for Fort Frances and generate improved opportunities to explore the world through books, magazines, newspapers, electronic media, and programs.
“We feel that the new Fort Frances Public Library and Technology Centre will benefit not only the citizens of Fort Frances, but our members and area businesses, too” she stressed.
“This new project is going to provide both cultural and economic benefits to Fort Frances, and we really encourage all businesses to support the library campaign.”
