It’s barely Hallowe’en but Christmas seems to be just around the corner.
For everything you can’t wait for Santa to bring, such as decorations, Christmas food, crafts, and trees, these all will be available again this year at the “Christmas Store.”
The only thing different will be its location.
Instead of setting up shop at the Clover Valley Farmers’ Market building on McIrvine Road, the Lowey family instead will be inviting shoppers to their greenhouses located on Highway 602 (the River Road) just past town limits.
It’s a move that has been a long time coming, noted Donna Lowey, explaining it just makes it all easier on them so they don’t have to be carting goods back and forth between the locations.
Also with this new location, Lowey revealed she’ll be working on making the shopping trip serve more as a family outing. For instance, a bonfire will be roaring for everyone to enjoy each Friday and Saturday.
The store will open for business on Saturday, Nov. 15, with its hours the same as before (Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Christmas trees will begin arriving Nov. 25 for those eager to get a jump on their festive decorating, and the Loweys’ greenhouses will be overflowing with poinsettias.
