The local Vipers’ volleyball program still is taking entries for its camp next Tuesday through Saturday at J.W. Walker School and Fort High.
Running from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. each day, the camp will focus on areas such as passing technique, serve-receive patterns and serving technique, floater and jump attacking technique, footwork and arm swing blocking technique, team blocking defence, and technical, individual, and team training.
Other topics include fitness and nutrition, mental training techniques, and strategies to deal with stress, anxiety, and visualization.
The cost to attend is $160, which includes a T-shirt and an evaluation.
Space is limited so be sure to sign up immediately.

All athletes are urged to bring along a water bottle and nutritious snacks.
