The Emo native battled it out with Devlin's Jamie Davis and claimed the checkered flag in the WISSOTA Modifieds division in Borderland Racing Association action at the Emo Speedway.
It was the third feature win of the season for Strachan, who now sits atop the points standings with 519.
Matt DePiero of Fort Frances took third while Jeff Davis of Devlin placed fourth.
Jeff Davis sits 21 points back of Strachan while Gavin Paull of Fort Frances sits third (493).
Christopher Leek of Ste. Anne Man., claimed his first win of the season on Saturday night in the Midwest Modifieds.
It was a rough race, with five drivers ending up not finishing.
Jamie Davis was the runner-up yet again while James Lambert of Fort Frances took third.
Despite finishing fifth in Saturday night's race, Cody Ossachuk of Fort Frances still maintains a healthy 32-point lead over Dayton Brady of Devlin (485) in the standings.
Lambert currently occupies third spot (479).
Jake Froemke of International Falls took the checkered flag in the Street Stocks division for his second win in a row.
Tylar Wilson of Fort Frances was second, Jesse Thompson of Emo place third, and Raice Westover of Fort Frances was fourth.
Wilson leads the points standings with 543, a sizeable lead compared to the totals of Thompson (470) and Westover (468).
With the back-to-back wins, Froemke now sits fourth with 408.
Racing resumes this Saturday with the Race of Champions Mid-season Shootout.
Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with the first heat at 7:30 (weather permitting).
