The dirt was flying and the local riders were smiling over the weekend in Emo.
Dylan Tessier of Devlin and Cole Kreger of Emo both were victorious at the Superior Dirt Riders' doubleheader that was held Saturday and Sunday at the Emo Motocross course.
It was the tour's lone stop in Rainy River District this year.
Kreger was first in the Schoolboy division and second in the MX3 Intermediate class.
He also finished sixth in the MX3 Open.
Tessier was tops in the Super Mini class while Dawson Pollard of Fort Frances was seventh and Alex Kreger of Emo ninth.
John Gavel of Emo finished third in the Vet 40+ class and eighth in the MX3 Open category.
Brandon Croswell of Emo had a good showing on his home track, placing third in the Schoolboy division and also finishing seventh in the MX3 Open category.
Landon Flinders of Fort Frances was fourth in the 65cc class, followed by Ozzie Hanson (Fort Frances) in sixth, Julia Guertin (Fort Frances) in eighth, and Kali Tessier (Devlin) in ninth.
Flinders also nabbed fourth in the 85cc ages seven-11 class while Alex Kreger (Emo) was sixth and Dawson Pollard (Fort Frances) right behind in seventh.
The Superior Dirt Riders' next race is slated for July 7 in Kakebeka Falls.
The six-race season then will conclude with another stop in Kakabeka Falls on Aug. 11 before wrapping up in Atikokan on Aug. 25.
