It was an excellent end to the NorWOSSA 'AA' regular season for the Muskie court sport teams on Tuesday afternoon against the visiting Sioux Lookout Warriors.
Three of the four squads came away with wins at Fort High.
In girls' basketball action, the seniors got at least a basket from each player as they cruised to a 59-22 romp to finish with a league-best 8-1 record.
Grace Petsnick led the black-and-gold with 12 points while Janissa Judson had eight and Simone Payne and Alina Eldridge both chipped in with six.
Jamie Spencer potted five points, while Keisha DeBungie, Joanna Empey, and Becca Jourdain all had four apiece.
Aurora Hutton and Bella Ward both recorded three points while Carmen Hebert and Rachel Anderson both added a basket to round out the offence.
As for the juniors, they also finished with a league-best 8-1 record as they soared to a 62-27 rout of the Warriors.
Heaven States led the way offensively with a 16-point performance while Tatum Glowasky chipped in with 13 points.
Ayiana Gagne and Serena Teeple both scored eight points, while Grace Smith had six and Anna Gagne added four.
Emma Yerxa and Tierney Rousseau both added a basket while Emily Fitzgerald notched a single off a free-throw.
In boys' volleyball action, meanwhile, the seniors nabbed their second win in a row with a 2-1 victory over Sioux Lookout to finish the year with a 3-6 record, which puts them in third place.
The set scores were 25-20, 23-25, and 25-16.
The juniors were the lone squad to come away without a win on Tuesday, falling 2-1 to the undefeated Warriors (8-0).
After winning the first set 25-21, the Muskies lost the final two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-19 to finish the regular season in second place with a 5-4 record.
Both Muskie basketball teams have a bye to the NorWOSSA final next Friday (Nov. 8) in Dryden while both volleyball squads will have to play in the morning semifinals to earn their berths to the championship game.
