The Muskie court sports teams weren't exactly in a giving mood yesterday afternoon.
All four squads emerged victorious in NorWOSSA action against the visiting Kenora Broncos.
Kobi Ward had 22 points as the senior boys' basketball team edged the Broncos 56-55 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Aaron Bujold added 19 in the win that went right down to the final buzzer.
The juniors had a tight game, as well—eking out a 42-41 victory to also improve to 2-1 in NorWOSSA play.
Michael Vanderaa led the way with 11 points while Caleb Allan added nine and Sean Huziak had eight.
In girls' volleyball action, meanwhile, the senior Muskies beat the Broncos in four sets (25-11, 22-25, 27-25, and 25-19).
With the win, the squad saw its NorWOSSA record improve to 2-1.
And the junior team was dominant in a straight-sets victory (25-7, 25-7, and 25-11) over Kenora.
The remain undefeated in league play at 3-0.
The junior Muskies will compete in an exhibition tournament today and tomorrow in Dryden.
All four teams then resume NorWOSSA action next Thursday (Dec. 21) against the host Eagles.
