The Muskie senior girls' volleyball team rebounded in a big way this morning at the all-Ontarios in Ahmerstburg.
The black-and-gold opened Pool 'A' play yesterday morning with a pair of straight-sets losses to host General Amherst (5-25/15/25) and Corpus Christi (16-25/8-25).
But the squad turned things around with a straight-sets win of their own this morning against Cité des Jeunes (Kapuskasing) by scores of 25-13 and 25-6.
The Muskies were slated to wrap up round-robin play later this morning against Mother Teresa (London), with the result not known as of press time.
The quarter-finals then will go this afternoon, with the semi-finals set for tomorrow morning.
The gold-medal and bronze-medal matches then will follow.
The Muskies advanced to OFSAA after sweeping the St. Ignatius Falcons (Thunder Bay) in the NWOSSAA playoffs held Feb. 22-23 at Fort High.
