Centra stays unbeaten

Centra Pipelines finally gave up a goal.

No worries—they made upfor it and then some.

Max Williams netted his league-leading third goal as Centra beat Pharmasave 4-1 in Borderland Soccer League men's division action last night.

Jeff Hyatt, Zach Koomans, and Tyler Hamm had the other markers for first-place Centra (3-0), which had blanked its first two opponents before Brett Allan's strike ended the shutout string.

Hamm and Britt Green shared keeper duties in the win while Steve Hands was between the pipes for last-place Pharmasave (0-4).

Manitou Forest Products (2-0-1) and CJ Contracting (1-2-1) battled to a 1-1 draw Wednesday night.

Chris Sinclair scored for Manitou against Alex Gustafson while Aaron Bujold beat Jacob Albright for CJ.

Tuesday's game between Manitou and Centra was postponed due to lightning, with the game to be made up at a later date.

Action resumes Monday at 7 p.m.

Manitou will face Pharmasave in men's play while La Place Rendez-Vous/Taggs (1-0-1) again squares off against Al's Racquet Stringing (0-1-1) in women's action.
