Mother’s Day might become a common occurrence on the local women’s volleyball scene this winter.
New league entrant How I Set Your Mother struck for its second-straight six-point week to grab first place following action last night at Fort High and St. Michael’s School.
The squad is a hybrid of two of last season’s better teams—league finalist One Hit Wonders and top-five finisher Spiked Punch.
Right behind them is perennial league contender No Diggity, which had a solid five-point outing last night but still dropped out of a tie for top spot with 11 overall.
That’s What She Set also nabbed five points for the second-straight week to sit in third place (10).
Bump it Up was the other team to garner the maximum six points last night to vault into fourth place (nine).
Lets Talk About Sets and Gillons’ are tied for fifth with six points apiece.
Scared Hitless and this year’s totally revamped lineup for Id Hit That are knotted up in seventh place (five).
We Could Carry Less sits in ninth place (four), followed by Wild Sets (three), and Rockstars (one).
Sloppy Sets remains in the basement after back-to-back weeks of being held pointless.
