Denise Bliss, left, received a stylized trillium service pin in recognition of her volunteer efforts from Colleen Moran, program lead with the Ontario Honours and Awards Secretariat in Toronto, during the 2016 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards ceremony Friday night at La Place Rendez-Vous. Some 49 people in the district received an award for their volunteer service, including 19 Fort Frances residents.
