Simone Payne dribbled the ball down the court while Muskie teammate Rachel Anderson followed in close pursuit during the fourth quarter of Fort High’s 55-45 loss to the host Dryden Eagles in the NorWOSSA ‘AA’ senior girls’ basketball final on Friday evening. The Muskies were denied a second straight league crown and a return trip to the NWOSSAA championship this week with the loss.
