Mellodey and Cadance Sinclair, above, enjoyed some pancakes and orange juice in the sun this morning during Fort Frances Tribal Area Health Services' breakfast in celebration of “Pride Week.” The event brought dozens of people to the FFTAHS' behavioural health services location on King's Hwy.
Meanwhile, Curran Strachan, left, administrative assistant for the FFTAHS location, spoke a few words after an opening song was performed by Dwayne Morrison. Strachan said the community has grown substantially since he “came out" seven years ago. "I didn't think something like this would happen here . . . Miigwech. Thank you," Strachan said of the gathering today and the other events that have happened so far in support of "Pride” this week.
