PeeWee ‘AA’ tourney

Photo Album:

Nolan Mann of the Fort Frances PeeWee ‘AA’ Canadians gave Owen Gouliquer of the Dryden Paperkings the see-you-later treatment as he burst off the boards during the first period of the host team’s 5-2 victory in the opening game of its home tournament this morning at the Ice For Kids Arena. Peyton Avis scored twice while Mann, Koda Radigan, and Isabelle Taylor added singles for the Canadians, who play again today at 4:45 p.m. against the West End Bruins (Thunder Bay). Then they’ll face a pair of Winnipeg teams tomorrow in the St. James Canadians (9:30 a.m.) and Lord Selkirk Steelers (2:15 p.m). The playoffs are set for Sunday.
