Learning to code

Photo Album:

A group of kids got to learn basic coding techniques at a “Robot en Route" workshop last Wednesday at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. Each participant was given a robot and a tablet, which acted like the robot's remote control, containing basic coding patterns that, when set up correctly, would tell the robot how to move, where to move and for how long. Jacob Bardwell, left, one of the two Science North "Bluecoats” who headed up the workshop, assisted the kids when needed, but they were so engaged in the program that they picked up the information in a snap.
