There was lots to do in the kids' corner during “Mall Days" festivities last Thursday at the Rainy Lake Square. Community Living Fort Frances and District set up booths with various arts and crafts activities, including button-making, games, and temporary tattoos. At top left, Maeve (left), Isabelle, and Grant Hammond were busy at one of the Community Living Fort Frances and District stations designing their own flags. At middle left, Once Upon a Spoon, a local vintage silverware jewellery shop, was one of the many vendors set up for "Mall Days. Tammy Kellar and Susan Carmody visited with designer Kristina Krag as they perused the booth of jewellery and silverware. Below left, Maggie Gurski and Sydney Radigan helped Matthew and Casey Egan make buttons at the kids' corner. Above, Fbaana Canoon, left, and Cedar Bruyere tried to catch wriggly minnows at a booth set up by the Fort Frances Best Start Hub while, below, summer students Naomi McManaman and Cameron Cawston were busy frying up cinnamon fry bread during the Fort Frances Museum's open house held in conjunction with "Mall Days.”
