Judge support

Janet Whitehead, centre, chair of the County and District Law Presidents’ Association (CDLPA), listened to concerns from members of the local law association during a meeting Friday morning at La Place Rendez-Vous. She also toured the courthouse and learned of consequences faced locally since the loss of the resident judge here. Whitehead vowed to try to garner support through the CDLPA to address many of the judicial issues in the district.
