Hunger heroes

Photo Album:

Members of the Fort Frances High School Student Leadership Council dropped off an estimated 1,000-plus non-perishable food items at Sunset Country Ford yesterday. The students collected items door-to-door on Hallowe’en for the dealership’s “We Scare Hunger” food drive. During the month of October, the public was urged to donate items at the dealership and enter a draw to win 1,000 “Go Local” points, which was won by Crystal Duhaime. Also seen here are Lt. Ryan MacDonald of the local Salvation Army, who took the items back to the food bank, and Sunset Country Ford staff Dani Rousseau and Terry Mueller.
