Crossroads student Aiden McTavish threw a Frisbee last Wednesday during a school visit by ReachUp Ultimate, a non-profit organization engaging youth in active, healthy living through the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. ReachUp teaches a set of principles called “Spirit of the Game,” reinforcing the Seven Sacred Teachings of love, respect, courage, honesty, wisdom, humility, and truth. It also provided educational workshops on tobacco.
