The town put up a new permanent electronic speed sign earlier this week at the corner of King’s Highway and Holmes Avenue to remind motorists just how fast they’re going. The $5,000 sign was purchased by town council as requested by the local Police Services Board. The sign is one of two planned for purchase (the town will wait to gauge its effectiveness before buying a second one).
