Terry Munn got an H1N1 vaccination from public health nurse Myrna Kraynyk-Cooper yesterday afternoon at the Northwestern Health Unit office here. Starting yesterday, the health unit began administering the shots by appointment to people in high-risk groups (seniors, those under 65 with chronic conditions, pregnant women, healthy children aged six months to under five years, people living in remote or isolated communities, health-care workers, and care providers). Two public walk-in clinics are planned in Fort Frances—one at Robert Moore School on Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 3-7 p.m. and another at St. Francis School on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 3-7 p.m.
