'Food for Fines'

Photo Album:

Nadine Mutz added a couple of more items into the “Food for Fines” collection yesterday evening at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. In celebration of Ontario Public Library Week (Oct. 15-21), patrons can pay their library fines all week by donating non-perishable food items to the library. Each item is worth $2 off your fines (this does not include money owed to the library due to lost or damaged items), which, in turn, will be donated to the local Salvation Army food bank. There also will be library yard clean-up tomorrow from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Bring a rake, gloves, and other tools to help out, with lunch being provided.
