Documentary screening

Photo Album:

About 30 people gathered in the Shaw Room at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre yesterday afternoon to view the documentary, “Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Dreams,” which explores issues facing people with physical disabilities in northern communities. The 92-minute documentary tells the inspring story of Maggie Sofea, a young woman who was paralyzed in a diving accident when she was 11 years old. Sofea also was on hand to answer questions following the screening.
