Lauryn Marchant, 10, checked out the colourful beaded necklaces for sale at John Grabish’s Caring Hands Society booth at the Business & Community Expo hosted by the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce on Friday and Saturday. The group, based in Thunder Bay, markets the recycled paper jewellery made by people in Uganda, along with other items such as hats, purses, baskets, and dolls, and then sends the money back to Uganda to change the lives of the people there. See A5 for full coverage of the expo.
