Cloverbelt spread

Photo Album:

Samantha Pearson, left, and Elaine Fischer of the Northwestern Health Unit filled their plates with some of the local samples available to try at a consumer information session hosted by the Cloverbelt Local Food Co-op at the Rainy River Future Development Corp. office here yesterday. With the online local food co-op in Northwestern Ontario set to expand into Rainy River District next year, the lunchtime event was a way to begin engaging area consumers. A similar session also was held in Emo on Wednesday while one for producers was offered Tuesday. More information about the food co-op is available at
