Students at F.H. Huffman School celebrated Thanksgiving with their annual “Harvest Feast” on Friday. The entire student body gathered in the gym to sing songs of thanks and enjoy bannock, wild rice, and soup they helped prepare. Pam Hawley, curator of the Fort Frances Museum, also gave a talk on the history of Thanksgiving while local elder Mrs. Kabatay gave a blessing in Ojibway.
