More than 40 cyclists left the parking lot of the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre yesterday morning while participating in a family ride initiated by the Northwestern Health Unit and the local OPP. The participants decorated their bikes at the library, then peddled to Rainycrest to show off their creations. They finished off at Tess’s Kitchen, where they enjoyed a free lunch. The focus of the event was to promote being active as a family while teaching bike safety.
