Tearfund president and CEO Wayne Johnson delivered a presentation on global poverty and the work his organization is doing to combat it at the Church of the Holy Spirit on Saturday. Although the Church of the Holy Spirit is a relatively small congregation, in the last two years its parishioners have donated over $10,000 to Tearfund which helps to create sustainable and long-term solutions for malnutrition, agriculture, and access to clean water in developing countries around the world.
