The Associates of Ste. Marguerite d'Youville once again are looking to help make sure no one goes cold this winter.
The group will hold its annual coat drive later this month.
The public is encouraged to drop off clean, used winter coats in good condition—for men, women, and children—at the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau (the old CN station) from 1-4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23 and Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Mittens, hats, and boot also are welcome.
Those in need of these items then can stop by the Volunteer Bureau from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25 and Thursday, Oct. 26 and get them for free for themselves and their families.
No early visitors please.
If any coats are left after the giveaway, they still will end up going to a good cause and not be thrown away.
