With more than 90 entries, this year is shaping up to be the biggest to date for the 11th-annual Gun and Hobby Show set for this Saturday (May 5) from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Fort Frances Curling Club.
New to the event this year are Roberta Oliver selling marshmallow guns and handcrafted dog collars, Jody Azevedo exhibiting Tupperware and 31 Gifts, and Dave Ostby displaying his extensive collection of quality rods and reels.
As well, Brett Schram will be showcasing custom-built bird houses while Inga's Kitchen is offering tasty, outdoor-themed sweet treats and camo cupcakes!
Bob Durnin, co-author of the “I call myself a prospector” series, will be on hand to do book signings and regale show-goers with colourful mining memories.
And Agassiz Trailers will have two of their enclosed models on display outside the main entrance.
Admission remains unchanged at $5, with children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult.
There also will be door prizes, a kids' corner, and canteen while free coffee will be offered.
