The countdown is on.
This year’s Terry Fox Run in Fort Frances is fast-approaching but things are coming together quickly for the Sept. 18 event that starts and ends at the Sorting Gap Marina.
Pledge sheets are available at the Fort Frances Times office, the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau, and Taggs/Source for Sports, which can be brought down to the marina on the day of the event.
Interested participants also can register online at www.terryfox.org by clicking on the “Terry Fox Run” link.
All participants who register on the day of the run will be eligible for various draw prizes gathered from local businesses and elsewhere.
A fundraising breakfast, sponsored by Safeway, also will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the Sorting Gap Marina.
The run itself will get underway at noon.
