Today at 2:10 a.m., officers of the Rainy River District OPP received a complaint of a motor-vehicle collision on the 300 block of Third Street West here.
An investigation revealed the driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and striking a residential structure.
The driver, a 23-year-old Fort Frances woman, was arrested and transported to OPP detachment for breath tests.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory seven days.
The driver subsequently was charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over .08 mg.
She also was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The woman is scheduled to appear in court here on Sept. 17.
