Council pay outlined

A new report received by town council Monday night shows how much the mayor and councillors were paid in 2015, with Mayor Roy Avis again ranking as the highest-paid and having the most expenses.
Mayor Avis, who also sits on the Fort Frances Power Corp. board of directors and local Police Services Board, had remuneration totalling $32,427.32 last year.
This total consists of a base salary of $23,000.12 plus $2,775 in per diems, $1,850 for being on the Police Services Board, and $4,802.20 for being on the FFPC board.
Mayor Avis also had $6,278.71 in conference expenses in 2015.
Coun. Ken Perry had remuneration equalling $15,825.04, with a salary of $12,000.04 and $3,825 in per diems.
He had $6,961.99 in conference expenses.
Coun. John Albanese, who also sits on the Police Services Board, had remuneration totalling $15,200.04, including a salary of $12,000.04, $1,125 in per diems, and $1,850 for being on the PSB.
He had $1,297.03 in conference expenses.
Coun. Paul Ryan had remuneration totalling $13,875.04 in 2014, with a salary of $12,000.04 and $1,875 in per diems.
He also had $4,478.54 in conference expenses.
Coun. June Caul had a salary of $13,500.04, including a salary of $12,000.04, and $1,500 in per diems.
She had $2,584.29 in conference expenses.
Coun. Wendy Brunetta had a salary of $13,425.04, including a salary of $12,000.04, and $1,425 in per diems.
She also had $1,384.60 in conference expenses.
Coun. Doug Kitowski had a salary of $12,750.04, including a salary of $12,000.04, and $750 in per diems.
He had $666.44 in conference expenses.
The report is issued each year in accordance with the Municipal Act.
