A new “Coffee Break" season will begin with a "welcome” breakfast next Wednesday (Sept. 18) at 9:30 a.m. at the Emo Christian Reformed Church (18 Meadow Street).
Breakfast will be followed by a time of fellowship and an introduction to their first Bible study, “Discover the Sermon on the Mount,” which will begin on Sept. 25.
“Coffee Break” is a nondenominational small group Bible study that is open to all women of the community.
Study material is provided, and no previous Bible knowledge is necessary.
While moms are participating in Bible study, children, ages two and up are invited to participate in “Little Lambs.”
There is also a nursery for infants and toddlers.
All ladies are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend.
For more information, call Jeannette at 276-2928.

The new playground in Devlin at the baseball field will be finished sometime in the spring.
The Emo and District Lions and the municipality, however, are pleased with the progress which has been made in the last few weeks.
Special thanks go out to Gaby Hanzuk, Jeannine Gagnon, Jayden Bombay, Cassidy Strom, Glen Aveyard, Elaine Hughes, Holden Dvorak, Noah Mcpherson, Eli Johnson, Ryan Sabbe, Aidan Taggart, Travis Michl, Brian Sabbe, Dennis Allen, and Roger Allan.
Thanks also to the hard working municipal employees, the crew from 'Playgrounds R Us' and the many others who turned out on the weekend to help complete phase one of this fantastic project.
This has truly become a community project.
Phase two will begin as soon as possible in the spring.
If volunteers are needed at that time, a message will appear on Facebook and the newspaper asking for assistance.
Once again, thanks to everyone who contributed in getting the new playground off to such an incredible start.
