So very proud

Dear editor:

As the holiday season draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank the Choraliers for making my Christmas so special.

What a great group of people! I am extremely proud of each and every member!

For approximately five weeks, they work very hard to prepare for our three performances, which always seem to please the public, two of which are in Fort Frances and the other one in International Falls.

They all were well-attended and we were appreciative of the free-will donations.

This year, I asked for some sponsorship and was so very happy with the response. It is because of donations, large or small, that we are able to continue our performances.

Even my singers have to contribute to the cost each time or we would never be able to cover the expenses.

It is such a privilege for me to direct these wonderful people, who have become soooo professional in their performance.

Each time, our choir numbers get larger and this Christmas, a few teenagers joined our Choralier family. And we, indeed, have become a family over the years!

I hope even more young people will check us out this spring. As we all know, there are amazing singers in our district and I invite anyone interested, adult or youth, to give me a call.

Just to give everyone a head's up, I already have picked out the Easter Cantata and our performances will begin the week following Easter, which is early this year (Easter Sunday falls on April 1).

Once again, thank you to the sponsors, you, the public, as well as everyone who helps out in any way. Without you folks, our performances would not be possible.

Wishing all of you God's blessings and a happy, healthy 2018!
