While these symbols are, in many cases, the things that give meaning and a rich heritage to our society, there are trends both in history and the present reality that we should take note of.

H1N1 dosage for children updated

As the Northwestern Health Unit continues to roll-out the H1N1 immunization program to everyone who wants or needs it this week, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care announced revised dosage guidelines for children.

Children between six months of age and under three years of age should receive two half-doses of adjuvanted H1N1 ’flu vaccine, administered at least 21 days apart.
