Unifor members ratify deal

Press Release

About 20 workers at the Dryden Volunteer Recruitment and Referral Centre voted 75 percent in favour of ratifying a new three-year contract that also just was approved by the DVRRC board.
DVRRC provides support for individuals with both physical and developmental disabilities.
“We are pleased to have finalized a new three-year contract that will provide Unifor members with a number of language improvements on top of one percent, two percent, and 2.5 percent annual pay raises,” said Unifor national representative Stephen Boon.
“DVRRC has more than doubled in size over the last two years, and we are very pleased to have maintained a solid working relationship with management throughout this period,” he added.
The new contract runs from Aug. 1, 2017 to July 31, 2020.
