Police are continuing their investigation into a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday around 2:25 p.m. on Highway 17 west of Keewatin.
Three people were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Two had to be extracted from two different vehicles using the “jaws of life.”
The male driver of the eastbound car and female passenger of the westbound pickup truck remain in hospital with serious injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours.
Charges are pending.
