The Rainy River Health Centre has reopened its Emergency Department observation and treatment areas following five months of repairs initiated after a main sprinkler break.
Due to significant water damage, the Rainy River Emergency Department was temporarily relocated to inpatient rooms to avoid any disruption in emergency care.
With the completion of this project, Riverside is happy to announce that the three acute care beds in Rainy River are once again available for patient admissions.
The extent to which the sprinkler break damage was mitigated by the actions of many individuals is truly remarkable.
The leadership and teamwork demonstrated by our staff, management and the community is greatly appreciated.
