Moose carcass abandoned

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public's help in identifying the individual(s) responsible for shooting and abandoning a bull moose.

On Dec. 9, conservation officers were made aware of an antlerless bull moose found dead by a member of the public.

Officers attended Km 8 of A. Bois Road, north of Sioux Lookout, and located a bull moose that previously had shed its antlers.

The officers believe the moose was shot and abandoned sometime in late November or early December.
